Saturday March 16 2024 - Vicious after 3 years and rematch with TtareeRecent matches
Vicious (id 5128) reached out to me. We actually haven't wrestled each other since February 2021. I actually helped him connect recently with KevWrstlr and I guess it was a way to say "Hi!" and "Thanks!" at the same time. We ended up talking more about how they've lost touch with each other for more than 20 years. Vicious is not the type to leave any tangible online footprint, mainly about his face.

We had a brief, but nice time. He lost some weight and he's hitting now the gym nowadays, so he told me to expect him to become stronger. πŸ˜‰

I finally had my rematch with Ttaree Moss Dwa Le after much re-connections. Ttaree actually came several times in Montreal in the last year, but our schedules conflicted. He had a hotel this time and we've both put our afternoon aside. Ttaree also lost weight and looked very fit compared to the last time I fought him.

In wrestling though, he was still a teddy I could manhandle. We tumbled around a bit and he eventually fell asleep because of the long drive he did from Toronto to Montreal. After a quick nap, I invited him to Dunn's where he famishly devoured a poutine and a smoke meat sandwich. πŸ˜‹

He asked me to bring my cameras, but we didn't even use them. I'll need to remember this next time and just learn to enjoy the match instead of putting heavier loads in my knapsack for materials and accessories I know I won't be using. πŸ˜…

Tuesday October 10 2023 - RobyCRecent matches
RobyC is from Montreal and he joined MeetFighters about 4 months ago.

I thought I had initially reached out to RobyC, but looking back at my messages, it was RobyC who reached out to me and I truly appreciate that. We live in a world where both sides are too scared to do the first step, but RobyC clearly shown that he was the braver and better man. πŸ˜… He dropped a "Nice wrestling profile you have there ;) " and I honestly think that's a very great invitation to tangle.

I've decided again to put the mats on the floor in my bedroom beside my bed and invite him over. I can't do this all the time for family reasons, but this was a good time to do so. It's sometimes, moments of opportunity like this that reminds me that I constantly need to put an eye out, seize it and take advantage of it. This alternative is better than renting hotel rooms where the opponents doesn't show up.

Anyhow, during our match, RobyC kept being worried about not providing me a challenge and I kept reminding him it's more about having fun. I love sharing my holds with my opponents, giving them tips and tricks, teaching them what to do to break free or to make their holds more effective. RobyC has a very strong upper body and definitely knows how to tangle despite being new to the scene. He has a good build and a nice beard. I definitely want to have his build when I'm at his age.

Roby learns new moves pretty fast and you can see that he has a shining fiery passion about it. We've all been through this when we discover that there is a whole community out there that shares your interest. πŸ™‚ RobyC explained me that his childhood made him a fighter today. He told me that he is of Italian descent.

We wrestled light to medium submission with a couple of give and take. I described to him my understanding of the word "promission", which I believe is simply a cross between submission and pro wrestling. We made sure to pace ourselves carefully so that we don't drain all of our energies in just one bout, so we ended up wrestling for a good 90 minutes. He is the first guy that I've wrestled who wears a watch to time and measure the calories spent and the hearts per minute. Hey, why not? We just had to be mindful not to hit his wrist.

Scissors was definitely an instant win against RobyC, but I did tell him that with a couple more matches under his belt, he could easily avoid my legs and defeat me. I think a re-match here is definitely in order. πŸ˜€

Lastly, I had forgotten to mention that RobyC is also an avid fan of gut punching which I take would make a perfect match against WalterG. They both are capable of giving and receiving a lot of gut punches and they are always taunting me to give them harder. To that, I usually tell them that the only thing I would be willing to crank harder would be my scissors. πŸ˜‚

Friday August 25 2023 - Rematch: FrankORecent matches
I had a re-match with FrankO whom I wrestled back in May. This time around, instead of going by small batches of 10 different matches, he simply asked me if I prefer to be heel or jobber.

I asked him the same question, to which he answers that because he's a bear (who doesn't like bears by the way), he is often asked to heel.

Oh... so then I told him that I'll gladly change the tides of things by dominating him this time around and by being his heel. I trapped him in my usual holds, made him tap one hold after another for a change. Still a novice or rookie, he is still easily to turn over and manhandle despite the new matches he has acquired under his belt. Our semi-competitive match turned promission turned heel vs jobber. In the end, FrankO was happy to take a role he doesn't often take and admits that I'm a bit stronger than him. I told him I'd be more than happy to repeat this in the future.

Since our last meet, he took my advice to put on past opponents on his profile and he agrees that the rotation is high in the sense that most wrestlers on wrestling sites like this and MeetFighters or others are only looking for... one night stand matches. It's pretty hard to find people and harder to find reliable ones that follow through or who don't end up ghosting. Regardless of the community whether it is Tinder, MeetFighters or your favorite dating app, it's pretty much the same nowadays.

We kept our discussion brief, gave ourselves a nice and tight little bearhug and promised each other to continue wrestling regularly. 😊

Sunday July 30 2023 - ShantigRecent matches
I had a re-match today with Shantig7. He reminded me it has been about 8 months since our last match. Time flies.

He told me had a match recently with a guy with Jujitsu experience... and he did not enjoy the types of pain experience against that type of opponent. I told him that I understood his dilemma, it is a very different style... Hence, we went the easy way, light scissors, light test of strength, sometimes, it's better and easier to have a relaxing match, especially after your opponent is still sore from his last one. πŸ˜‚

Shantig has gone a long way: he is preparing himself for a marathon and is very aware of his health and fitness. I can see him being a super power soon. πŸ€—

Shantig took a very important transformation, but he told me it was for the best because whatever trait he had was a lot of work and maintenance on him on the long term. I respect his decision, but I'll miss this trait.

I had forgotten that his nipples was sensitive and that I need to nibble harder. πŸ˜…

Wednesday May 10 2023 - Newcomer: FrankORecent matches
I had a match yesterday with FrankO, a very nice, friendly, sociable, educated and polite bear.

We were supposed to meet a non-sleazy motel, but the hotel I use was booked full, so he suggested I come to his place instead.

We went in batches of 10 minutes matches varying the style in each of them. His style was around promission with light to semi-light pressure. Nothing too competitive and with an agreement that some holds are purposely made as signals to break to let the opponent take a lead. Some matches were first to tap, submissions only, scissors only, sleepers only and other different combinations/mixes that kept the match interesting. I made sure not to scissor him much because he did had a sore rib in the past. He did have a fondness for scissor against an opponent's pouch which he only tell me after our last bout, so it's something I'll need to remember for the next time. He also wanted to add a few pro-only moves like the mandible claw, but I wasn't comfortable yet to have someone until I better know him. So that's for next time as well. He also usually prefers to job, so that's also a note taken because I don't mind destroying him. πŸ˜‚

He insisted after our match that we spend a bit of time getting to know each other. He gave me this ginger ale and we talked about our lifestyles and wrestling experiences. He gives a very comforting aura of trust and we did decide that we will keep in contact to meet up again in the future. πŸ˜€

Hopefully, I can convert this cute wrestler into a regular opponent. πŸ˜…

Sunday April 23 2023 - KevWrestlr, SaturnS22, FuzzyYetiRecent matches
KevWrestle was in town last week to get away from the stressful life of Toronto. I made him visit the shopping district of Montreal, but truth be told, I did tell him that I personally felt that Montreal was not that different from Toronto, but he told me that there was a lot less noise here and that it's actually more peaceful.

We had a short match back at the hotel, and I did recall that his past injuries prevents me from putting scissors on him. I had forgotten that his legs were strong. He bikes a lot but like many, the lockdown made him gain a bit of weight and placed him out of track with his routine, so his legs weren't as strong as it used to be, according to him. Our last match before this one was 4 years ago in 2019, so I couldn't recall how strong they were back then... but one thing for sure, had he had a bit more endurance and persistence, he could probably have made me tap.

Nevertheless, he told me to come to Toronto and he kindly offered me to stay at his place. I still would have to think about that and I did tell him that my current situation makes it a bit hard for me to travel these days.

This week-end I met with a new wrestler who goes by SaturnS22. He's a big solid bear that once did rugby and would still love to do it had it not be because of injuries as well. It is a sport as dangerous, if not, more dangerous than wrestling. Saturn also had prior experience in pro wrestling having taken classes about 20 years ago, but he forgot most of it.

In any case, he did tell me he wouldn't do pro holds without being in a wrestling ring, so when we fought, we mainly did slow-paced semi-competitive, a bit of trading holds with a mix of roughhousing. I took it easy because this was his first match in a very long while and that he was very shy and anxious about our meet. I made sure he felt comfortable with me, although he did told me next time to be rougher.

I also met with FuzzyYeti who now goes by SquashBear (id 6777). We lost touch with the years, my last record of a match with him seems to be around 10 years ago, probably less. He had his life, I had mine, we both had different entanglements and obligations, but we eventually were able to reach out to each other to finally meet again after all these years.

He is still the strong bear I remember. He likes smothering his hairy chest on me and his strength does prevent me from moving him. I did give him a wee bit of a challenge to make sure that he has some fun too, because he does love a good workout that allows him to emanate his musk, which I personally think has a very nice scent. πŸ˜…

We caught up on our lives, wrestled a couple of bouts, paused for a chat and exchanged a few more holds. He was able to host and invited me to return soon for a re-match. I couldn't be happier. πŸ˜€

A couple of weeks ago, I also had a fun back and forth match with LumberG (id 250). We were simply trading holds and I was putting on him this body scissors that he loves very much. I tried to evaluate his limits, applying only the minimum pressure required and not go too much beyond his tolerance. Despite my best efforts, he did had a pain surge that crawled up to his neck that day while he was working a couple of hours later. That being said, I think this may be the last few times I can scissor LumberG considering that it comes with short-term pain. We'll have to work something out and try to find different holds that are possibly reasonable and within his range of acceptable maneuvers. Mind you, some holds are like massage techniques, so I just need to find the ones that do good long term effect rather than those that might cause some harm.

Wednesday January 18 2023 - Rematch: Ben MonacoRecent matches
Ben Monaco (id 5578) and I finally had a rematch since September 2017. I admit that we should not have waited 5+ years, but I guess work and other stuff has kept us apart. I also tend to let Ben reach out to me first because I feel he is probably very busy, but I really should shut up and take the initiative. Yes, I'll reiterate that I'm terrible in keeping in touch with my opponents. πŸ˜₯

Ben is now around 200 lbs and he seems to have more hair on his chest (he was around 160 when I first met him). Not a problem of course. πŸ˜‚ Bigger and hairier has always been my preference. We discussed and caught up on our career and on our lives for the past years. We then proceed to walk into his bedroom to wrestle on the bed... with a casual reminder of a hole I once dug into the wall back on February 2015 (the hole has since been cleanly patched up). It was our first match back then and I believe I was one of his first opponent. He chose me because he felt that I would probably be easy to deal with, small, jobberish, gullible, weak, so, in all probability, certainly easy to defeat. In short, I'm the perfect harmless practice dummy. Once we locked up, he understood that size doesn't really mean much. I ended up making him submit in my scissors a couple of times and he eventually nudged me with his foot to push me down from the bed as a sign of his playful discontent of his disgruntled defeat, but my elbow pierced the wall as I fell. πŸ˜‚

Needless to say, we were careful this time around on the bed to not do any sudden movements or to not purposely throw each other off the bed. We kept our semi-competitive wrestling style. I have to say though that I still have a feeling that Ben is not delivering his full blows against me because he is a jobber at heart, but to give him the benefit of the doubt, he did came back from an intensive session at the gym where he still has a few sores and aches.

Mind you, his headlocks are still as devastating as ever. It depends on the angle, but the same applies to the body scissors. A scissor on the coccyx is pointless, a scissor near the rib area is fatal. For him, the headlock on the upper head is a warm and friendly hug, but a headlock where he presses you against his chest with a firm lock on the neck, pressing it backwards as to snap it is an instant submission. πŸ˜… Yeah, don't get caught in those, but that's easier said than done.

He still loves to punch his opponent on the chest, arms, legs, and he still does claws and a few nerve holds... when he does that, I usually return the favor by doing the same to show him how fun and exciting it is to be caught in one of thoseπŸ€ͺ He does recall not to use his nails because their effects only come into play a few days later. He dug his fist deep (or elbow? I don't recall) into my chest in an attempt to make me feel discomfort or to break free of an impending submission, but he does know that I have an unusually good threshold for pain. I probably should have gave up or at least attempted to break free earlier anyway instead of enduring the pain, because it did left me with a temporary mark on my skin.. but not to worry, this usually goes away after a few days. Again, my skin marks very easily.

Yes, I have a significant belly in this pic. πŸ˜…

I can still make him submit to my scissors at around 30% of my full leg power. This allows me to be arrogant and to casually put my hands behind my head or to flex while I do my scissors while saying "I don't need my arms to beat you 😜" just to show how an arse I can be. πŸ˜‚

The word of the evening here would be "mean". That's how Ben would qualify me for torturing him with scissor subs after scissors subs after grapevine subs after leg scissors... and I also managed a bearhug submission on him, but to his credit, he was exhausted after trying to fight back for a prolonged period of time. πŸ˜…

After an hour or two, we gave ourselves a big mutual bear hug, discussed about the wrestling community and underground and we've agreed to NOT wait another 5+ years before our next rematch. Hopefully, we shall meet again maybe in a few months? πŸ˜€

A comment I did find amusing is that Ben Monaco pointed out the proliferation of wrestling sites, the recycling of wrestlers hopping from one organization to another (a wrestler who wrestled for BG will probably end up on TA, W4H, MDW, MBW, etc.) and the explosion of social network content (Watchfighters, Only Fans, Just for Fans, etc.). We both agreed that the great thing about this is that we get more content and that the money is now distributed in a better way among the wrestlers and other individually owned content creators, which is better than a single entity or big corporation keeping and hogging all the profits and seizing all the royalties. Competition is healthy. It allows these wrestlers to make money to travel the world and share their work with everyone.

Monday October 3 2022 - Ttaree and D28383 Recent matches
Ttaree Moss Dwa Le was recently in town and we managed to pull a last minute meet-up. The last time we met was actually last year around the same time (October 2021). He wanted to take pictures together, but we ended up just wrestling. This time around, he had a hotel near the airport and we've immediately decided to start with a little photo session so that we don't regret it like last time.

He lost a bit weight going from 330 to 320 and he was a little bit easier to squeeze... just a little bit. πŸ˜‰ He's a bit more manageable than I imagined, but if he does get on top of me, then there's very little point for me to try and fight back... not that I mind his weight on me anyway.

Incidentally, running your fingers slowly on his chest or back will trigger a sensitive reaction that can make him jump a bit. Can be used as a weakness if done correctly. πŸ˜‚

Here's a big bearhug from him:

I also met with D28383 (id 8921) whom we met about 3 years ago in April 2019. I did not remember his hairy chest. He unfortunately shaves his beard, because it's a bit of a hassle for him to maintain.

Our wrestling was strictly trading holds where I would give him side scissors, he'd give me rear scissors and we'd exchange also bearhugs and body splashes.

I've put on my boots to increase the effectiveness of my side scissors because he can take it... although after about an hour, I was ready to give him some more, at which point he told me that he is all squeezed out.

I suggested we tried the scale again, but the scale he used to squeezed as target practice broke because the maximum weight is 300 lbs (yes, that means that the pressure exerted by his scissors is greater than 300 lbs). So, he got himself a digital one, but it won't register his body scissors. My guess is that digital scales only work when they detect that they are on a flat surface, so when the sensor perceives an incline of any kind, it just deactivate itself.

Our time was pretty short, but we made the most out of it anyway. I reminded him this time around not to wait another 3 years before meeting me again.

Sunday August 7 2022 - Local matchesRecent matches
I had a few local matches the other day: I finally had my rematch with CanUWrestle (id 13567) after a 3 years hiatus. He lost about 10 lbs since we last met.

I felt he has improved his resilience and toughness quite a bit since we last met. He did have quite a few matches since to help him though.

I'm pretty sure he grew a goatee since we last met, but one thing for sure, I am still falling for that sexy hairy chest. πŸ˜‚

I also met TommyV (id 15253). We did meet in person previously about 2 weeks ago when CanWrestle (yeah, careful, it's a different wrestler with the "U" missing) was in town, but we did not have an opportunity to wrestle back then. TommyV wrestled CanWrestle, but they were both exhausted when I arrived, so we ended up having a late supper at a straight bar. TommyV and I took a raincheck and decided to wrestle at a later date, which was what just happened a couple days ago.

TommyV considers himself a rookie, but he also have wrestled quite a bit of people. He admits that the problem is that he forgets most of the stuff that he learns throughout his matches. I don't blame him because I do exactly the same.

He was easy to toss around and his body scissors was no match for mine. I did show him the elbow trick: the perfect way to make enemies with your opponents. πŸ˜…

In the end, I wanted us to relax so I caressed him lightly while he was struggling to keep me down. Or what I would often do is that I put a scissor without pressure, but I give him a timer: if he doesn't get out within 30 seconds, I would start squeezing. πŸ˜‰

TommyV is quite a handsome young fellow.

Thursday June 30 2022 - Hotel match: Jason + ElracRecent matches
I had 2 local matches yesterday: one with a new Montreal wrestler who goes by "Jason" and another one I now consider a veteran and an old friend: Elrac (id 692).

Jason and I suggested that we meet in a suburb south of Montreal because motels there are cheaper. We agreed on a 50/50 share on the costs of the motel, but he ended up canceling. We eventually managed to reschedule it for now given his insistence that we should meet. I took the risk of covering the whole costs of the hotel this time, but I guess that a was a slight mistake from my end. Jason arrived. He came out straight from work with his security guard uniform. He was tall, had this scrappy build and was around 230 lbs I believe. His build is the intimidating build that does match his profession. πŸ˜…

We tumbled around for roughly ~5 minutes. I managed to rack him, bearhug him, put him in his favorite holds: the schoolboy pin and the cradle. He's still a rookie though: I did made him tap a few times in my scissors and that might have scared him. Suddenly, he took his phone, dialed something and told me he had to leave, citing a family emergency: his son of 7 years old was at the hospital.

I offered him to shower before he leaves to be presentable at the hospital. He took the offer, cleaned himself up, and then, shortly after he left, he deleted his MeetFighters profile.

Hmmmm... πŸ€” I guess I either scared the πŸ’© out of him or I was a really bad experience. I mean there are better ways to express something aside from deleting a profile, but you'll always have some of those in today's era. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ All you can do at this point is to shrug and move on. There's no sense for me feeling remorse or regret for someone I met in person for 5 minutes and even less for someone who can't appreciate that I covered for all the hotel costs. Meh.

Fast forward four months later (in October 2022), he did re-create a new profile under the name "Stephane450", so I realized he is one of those the create and delete profiles over and over again to keep the least amount of tracks possible.

Elrac (id 692) was fortunately my backup, whom I had wrestled last in March 2019.

He's still the same jobber, who has a desire to dominate over guys smaller than him. His favorite hold is the neck hang or the lifted choke. Can you tell that I'm on a chair? πŸ˜‚ Shhh... Don't tell anyone!

His strength on arms and chest are pretty good, but his legs are his weakness, whereas for me, it's pretty much the opposite. Regardless, that didn't prevent me from putting on him my bearhug!

For good measure, how about I finish it off with a devastating groin claw of excruciating pain? πŸ˜…

Elrac and I also had a small arm wrestling match. While we were busy tumbling, we were supposed to wait for a third opponent, but that guy also chickened out and never showed up. This third opponent was a new guy that Elrac has met on Grindr that had a little interest in wrestling. The problem was that Elrac only spoke to him a few days ago and he never met him in person. He invited him to the hotel, but to no surprise, the guy ghosted Elrac after his invite.

Life isn't perfect, but you learn to cherish those opponents that are reliable.

Elrac and I agreed to meet again in the future, but we should probably narrow down the gap of 3 years to maybe somewhere around 6 months or 1 year. Then again, these were circumstances outside of our control, right?

On a side note, there is apparently a monkeypox outbreak in Canada and Montreal is considered an epicenter. Luckily, I took my shot 10 days ago on June 20, but I did have a rash that formed just underneath my left arm where I received the shot. I'm sure it'll go away, but now that I think of it, maybe I scared Jason with this rash? πŸ˜…

Monday April 4 2022 - Shantig7 and EvilDarkRecent matches
I had a rematch with Shantig7 a couple of weeks ago. He had a match the day before, so we went with a bit of light wrestling. We've also reached the point where we can just trade hold and relax and take it easy.

Shantig's schedule has been pretty busy as of late, but I think he is seeing the lights at the end of the tunnel. Based on what he told me, we might be able to wrestle more often than once every 5-6 months.

I believe we also wrestled in September, but I had forgotten to take note of it. We were supposed to meet in December, but we delayed it due to the restrictions that were imposed in our province.

This week-end that just passed, I did my annual visit for EvilDark by train to Quebec city. Consciously, I think my brain told me it was time because I checked afterwards when was our last visit and it was exactly in April 2021, so exactly a year ago.

He's a bit more optimistic than last time. He's going back out, to cinemas, restaurants, hanging out with friends. We binged watched Squid Game, Power of the Dog and Parasite. We also watched a hockey match where the Canadiens won 5-4. EvilDark absolutely abhors the Canadiens due to their history of taking most of the sponsorships from the Nordiques and draining them of their financial support. As a result, this forced the team to be traded to the US, where they were renamed to the Colorado Avalanches.

Anyhow, we still had time to lock body scissors on each other and trade a couple of holds. He still has a firm grip, but a bit less powerful than the previous times I met him.

I'll continue to do my duty and visit him hopefully more than a yearly basis, but I did ask him if he can come up during the summer so I can hook him up with other wrestlers in Montreal.

Monday February 28 2022 - LumberG week-endRecent matches
I had a brief match with LumberG this week-end. I say LumberG, but his real profile is Lumber_Jack_G, but it's so much simpler for me to call him LumberG.

I think we've known each other for long enough now that our matches are more like roughhousing or just trading holds, we wrestle when we feel like it. We both had our fair share of injuries accumulated through the years and I apparently left him with what seems to be a permanent light pain near his lower thigh because of my aggressive grapevines and leg locks. It's perhaps a sign that I should seriously consider reducing its usage if I don't want to hurt other people.

We've traded body scissors, headlocks, sleepers, crucfix arm bars with gut punches and the usual... LumberG told me that he does not think I am believable as a heel. I wouldn't blame him... I mean after all, I do carry a name like Loserboy. Regardless, it still gives me great satisfaction to put him like in a schoolboy pin and flex over him.

He told me however that he enjoys it when I try to assume that I'm a heel. Even though I'm a jobber at heart, I know it makes many people happy to be beaten by a lowly heel like me.... or when suddenly, I override my jobber-persona and become the heel out of the blue. 😝

I do miss the days where I could easily slip in my body scissors on him and make him tap. He's such a great wrestler now that he can easily avoid my scissors and I can only wrap him on-demand. And even there, I make sure not to go too far because I did hurt him physically previously as well. πŸ˜…

Fun fact, LumberG loves gut punching and I am always hesitant to trade gut punches, because he has a lot more resistance than I do and he can also give much stronger punches. I often ask him to deliver 70% of what he can do because that's about the threshold/intensity I can tolerate. So, when we give gut punches mutually, we kneel down facing each other and we give one punch at a time then exchange: me first giving the punch, followed by him giving me one, me again, and so forth. Obviously, he will increase the strength of his gut punch over time and easily win when I say that I quit. πŸ˜‚

Ironically though, he doesn't enjoy being put in a crucifix armbar and being gut-punched at the same time. Well, he does, but he wouldn't have the same tolerance than I do. I enjoy being helpless when I'm gut punched, and LumberG enjoy being able to defend himself, having his arms free when we exchange gut punches. Of course, we do find compromises. πŸ˜‰

Aside from that, LumberG likes to chill out and he made me watch a few episodes on Netflix like "Inventing Anna" and "Sex Education". There is a reference in the latter show that I mentioned to him that explains the feeling I felt when I wrestled him the first few times about 5 years ago. I always felt that LumberG was the lion at the top of the food chain and that I was the domestic cat, who had no chance to continue wrestling someone as handsome as LumberG.

On the other hand, LumberG is always very hard of himself. Regardless of his awesome build, he thinks he's fat. ...but if he's fat, then what am I? Well... LumberG told me that there's nothing cuter than a chubby asian. 🀣 Not to worry, while for some, this may look like an insult, it is actually a compliment. I explained to LumberG that when I reached 170 lbs, I started receiving messages from many wrestlers that enjoy my belly. πŸ˜… You lose some, but then you win some as well. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Thursday November 11 2021 - First home match: Wrestling matsRecent matches
I invited Vicious and Sylvain for my first home match. I technically can get this setup around once a month (one day on a given month)... it's complicated.

Knowing this, I bought before hand 8 mats that each measure 80 cm x 160 cm (32 inches x 63 inches), costing 80$ each... so yeah, it's a setup that costs 640$ (Canadian), but I think this is a good long term investment. Hey, it's cheaper than a hotel, considering that the hotel I was using that has a large amount of space has started requiring a minimum booking of 2 days, meaning a minimum spending fee of 400$. Anyhow, these mats have Velcro on each side so they can be attached all together for a 4 x 2 big mats setup equalizing 320 cm x 640 cm (126 x 252 inches), which is enough to have 2 separate matches going on at the same time. These velcro are rigid enough to prevent the mats from separating during a bout, although I still had to move them around lightly once in a while... they do somewhat get detached depending on the force being used, but that happens rarely enough (Thank goodness!)

Vicious (id 5128) and Sylvain (id 2636) were obviously my guinea pigs and we had some good fun. The mats are stable and adequate for wrestling. The best part is that it's very easy to remove the mats and store them away once were done. In the absence of a wrestling ring, I think this is the next best thing.

I haven't seen Sylvain for 2 years and a half so we caught up quite a bit. I had forgotten that Sylvain was previously an Olympic wrestler. We have always fought pro or give and take. I think this might be the first time I wrestled sub with him and I realized that aside from him letting me put him in body scissors, there's nothing I can do against him. If he wants to, he can become technically a brick.... and if you apply a wrestling hold on a brick, you're just gonna tire yourself. Sylvain was kind enough to show us a few warm up moves and useful technical wrestling hints to prevent us from injuring ourselves in a full blown sub match.

As for Vicious, I wrestled him not too long ago, so no need to catch up there. He did learn a lot from Sylvain though, so maybe it was a bad idea to put him together with him. The end result is that I can't make Vicious my jobber anymore in the long term.

Of course, an encore is required, but in due time. I'll go one-on-one next time if the opportunity comes up again next month.

2 days later, Ttaree Moss Dwa Le returned to Montreal and we fought again. Unfortunately, this was held back at the hotel because my private space was not available. Our match was very short and we ended up resting most of the time because he was tired from his travels. I also admit that week-end I was pretty low in energy. We'll have to catch back again in the future and he suggested maybe to take some pictures. We'll see. Anyhow, he'll be back.

Wednesday November 3 2021 - SalzPeterRecent matches
Had a match with SalzPeter from Toronto. This compact little fella is a jobber at heel, but don't let his size fool you: he can take a lot of holds and pressure.

I don't recall how many body scissors I applied to him, he took them a lot, submitted to them, and then asked for more, so I made sure to give him a lot more. πŸ˜…

His agility and experience meant that things like camel clutch barely make a dent on him and that he enjoys being put on stretching hold.

Even the camel nelson has barely any impact on this ruthless jobber.

SalzPeter had some great stamina and even though we took breaks in between our sessions, he didn't mind that I lock holds one after another. We will probably be wrestling again soon.

Saturday October 30 2021 - Ttaree Moss Dwa Le and ViciousRecent matches
I wrestled last week-end a big, but nice fellow who goes by the name of Ttaree Moss Dwa Le. Yes, I did ask what it meant. I thought it was an expression in a foreign language, but it just happens to be a wrestling pseudonym with no real meaning aside from providing anonimity.

Originating from Montreal, works in Toronto, he occasionally goes back to Montreal to visit his family. He had a wrestling passion for a while and never knew of sites like MeetFighters so a good friend introduced it to him. Weighting 276 lbs and measuring 6'0", this strong giant is actually gentle and caring. He asked me for my weight and when I gave it to him, he was hesitant. He asked me if I really wanted to wrestle him, to which I replied that I have wrestled bigger guys.

Later on when we met, I tried to make him comfortable, we spoke a bit before about our past experiences before locking up. I did my usual stuff to lock his ankle and my headlock is good enough to hold him still. I did try giving him a body scissor, but that was a big mistake, because it ended up giving me a minor cramp. Ttaree was quick on his feet and kindly soothed me by holding my right leg in a very therapeutic manner. Some people are very good with their arms, or maybe he has some supernatural healing powers.πŸ˜…

I actually tried to rack him, but I failed miserably. He was a bit too heavy for me. However, I managed to do a fireman's carry. Woohoo! πŸ€—

Ttaree also asked for my age. I think I was a bit mean: I told him that it's the first thing that is listed on a wrestler's profile. I then showed him how to properly read a wrestling profile on MeetFighters: you visit someone's profile, you scroll down a bit and you see their age, height and weight. It's his first time on the site, so I probably should have been nicer and acknowledge that it's information that is easy to miss if you just jump directly to the description.

Ttaree is very strong and he can easily beat me. He only lacks a bit of experience. He has the strength, he is a rock, an ox, an unmovable brick. On top of that, he's an absolutely charming and nice guy. I couldn't scissor him, but I could bearhug him, and to my surprise, my bearhug had strangely a better impact than my scissors... I was kinda puzzled. πŸ€”

Later on, we chilled a bit, touched him softly and he asked me if I do massages... well, I'm no professional but I can try to do a bit of stuff on his back. What better way to relax after some roughousing?

He asked me if I knew other opponents in Montreal and I tried to set up a three-way, but both wrestlers did not respond on time, so I told Ttaree it will be for another day. For sure, he will be back soon and we will have a rematch. I absolutely loved our session. Even though he is a big guy, you feel very safe when you wrestle him. He's not there to hurt you and he is super adorable.

He loves gear and he had an interest on my eLucha gold and black speedo, so I gave it to him. I love it a lot, but I know I can order a new one. It fits him very well.

I also saw Vicious (id 5128) again that night. He was supposed to be my opponent for our three-way match. I ended up meeting him for a one-on-one, again for the short time we had to communicate this. We haven't seen each other since February 2020, so it's been a good 18+ months or so.

A lot of change happened to him professionally. His weight is still relatively the same and he seems a lot happier now. We tangled a bit, but I was more hungry than anything else. It made me realized that I can't really do more than a match in one day especially when my first opponent is twice my size. So, after what seems to be barely like less than a hour of tumbling around, we went to eat out and I invited him for a steak at the Keg's.

We will try to do another re-match, a longer one. And this time, with a shorter interval than 18 months.

Sunday October 10 2021 - Sunny RematchRecent matches
I had a rematch with Sunny DeLeon on Monday. We wrestled in the afternoon just before he would leave for the airport in the evening back to Winnipeg. He actually contacted me the day before on my cell, but I had left my cell on its dock the whole day cuz it was my day off and I stayed home. I'm also not really a cell person. I told Sunny had he messaged me on MeetFighters, I probably would have a better chance of seeing it than a text on Whatsapp.

Regardless, we were able to meet around noon. We tumbled a bit and I showed both him and TxWresl a small portion of the Montreal underground city. It's realy nothing special: it's riddled with shopping malls of globalized stores and brands. You'll find the same stores here than in the US.

When we came back to the hotel, we traded gear: he kindly gave me Canada speedos, my first one ever. πŸ˜… It's a very nice cut. It has the red maple leaf on the front and the country's name on the back, all with the typical red and white colors. I'm wearing it in the pictures below. He broke the dual set that he has for tag team matches, but he told me he can easily get another one. The only thing I need to get extra are the red wristbands to match them, but those can easily be bought from eBay or Amazon.

I gave him in return my favorite blue pro trunks that I love so much (he actually picked it... it shows that he has a very good eye and taste!), but I know these can be re-ordered from eLucha. They don't have it available now, but I've contacted the owner to re-have them made again through custom orders. Sunny told me that this would mark his first pro wrestling trunk. πŸ€—

We only took a few more pics. He was very sweet to mention that I should take bearhugs for the site. TxWresl (id 3061) took them for us, he's the excellent photographer that's delivering these amazing images. Whatever filter or setting he used, it's very nice to see how the blurry background helps emphasize the hold on the foreground.

Sunny suffers very well... or actually, knows how to sell my bearhug, because my bearhugs barely inflict any pain. 🀣

Lastly, why not kiss him on his chest while I crush him?

Sunny mentioned that I should attend Fighting4Fun's event that will be held in April of 2022. I think I should be ready to get out of my cocoon and be the jobber or the heel that I am meant to be. 🀩 (For some reason, I always thought that Fighting4Fun's handle was Wrestling4Fun, but I guess both would technically mean the same thing...)

Saturday July 17 2021 - LumberGRecent matches
I met with LumberG again last week-end (I think on July 9/10) and our matches have been leaning more towards light roughhousing and trading holds... or just lie down and I headlock you take it easy kind of stuff. πŸ˜‚

In any case, LumberG has surpassed me a long time ago and can easily break free from anything I dare to throw at him. The guy is a beast now and has mastered wrestling better than I ever will. 😭

We've also both accumulated our share of injuries throughout the year whether it is through wrestling, work, workout, time or unfortunate incidents, so our light wrestling style suits us both. It also means at this point that you've known your opponent well enough and have met enough to just semi-wrestle and still have a great share of fun while relaxing at the same time.

I did wrestle him a few more times between last July 2020 and now, but never bothered to document it, because we've switched to light wrestling for a few eons now.

CanWrestle (id 9693) spoke to me the other day about videos he has posted on WatchFighters, a division of MeetFighters, and that gave me an idea of how LumberG and I could post some too, since we've taken a few pictures and videos in the past (to be exact, we've took them 5 years ago). Back then, his situation prevented him from posting the stuff online, but he's a bit more comfortable nowadays. However, he gained some weight... which I absolutely adore, but he despises... so he's not in a mood of taking additional shots. I am however thinking of asking me if I can re-use our older shots and give it a test drive. πŸ˜€

LumberG is looking great the way he is right now, but he is very camera shy and prefers to have six-pack abs before taking new picutres. πŸ˜‚

Monday July 5 2021 - CanWrestle and Shantig7Recent matches
Signs that a re-opening is in effect: CanWrestle (id 9693) kindly traveled between Ottawa to Montreal to wrestle a few opponents and he kindly left an opening for a match with me.

I think I became pretty rusty in all this isolation because I lost count of how many times he made me submit. 🀣

I rarely post any sleepers, so here's one:

CanWrestle was able to lock on this boston crab on me with relative ease:

And the last thing I remember from this camel were these words that CanWrestle peacefully whispered in my ears: "Smile for the camera!"

I would have wrestled CanWrestle some more, but he was "wrestled" out because of his previous opponents. πŸ€ͺ For the record, I did put a few holds on him, but they did not realy turn out well on the camera unfortunately. 😭

I had wrestled Shantig7 around end of April and we were due for a rematch, but he wanted to wait for his second vaccination dose. This leads us right into July where he told me that before leaving our last match, my bearhug caused him a little stretch that hurt him for a few days.

This time around, he told me to tone it down with my scissors and he wants us just to have fun without having to worry about which holds to apply or what style to do. I threaded on lightly and made sure that my scissors were reasonable. Our match was held at a hotel this time around because Shantig7 didn't want to experience the displeasure of having the bed sheets torn apart again... on top of having to worry about laundry. πŸ˜…

I think I had the upper hand, not because of strength, but because of the technical experience I had over him. Because of his liking for Pokemon, I explained to him that he was a level 1 Pikachu while I was a level 30 Blastoise. Water-type are inherently weak against lightning types, but even a thunder skill at this low level wouldn't hurt a higher level opponent. I explained to him that his fur and body type was my weakness, but I would still have an easy time toying around with him. Yeah I know.. this is probably the geekiest talk you've heard from me! 🀣

Shantig7 politely invited me to dinner afterwards where we caught up on our missing months. He is a very active and busy guy with a strong sense and spirit of entrepreneurship. Again, this guy can probably eat me easily if he battles enough opponents, gains some more experience and levels up... but before that, this guy will succeed in life in many other various ways. πŸ˜‰

Monday April 12 2021 - EvilDark and Shantig7Recent matches
I've decided to take a leap of faith. Cases have been going down and I haven't seen EvilDark (id 1077) since June 2019. I took the train to get from Montreal to Quebec city and fortunately for me, there were only 7 passengers in my wagon (which would usually host 40 people at full capacity). EvilDark has instructed me not to eat in the wagon, but I've decided to calm him down by supplying him a picture of my empty train environment.

I spent a nice weekend. We wrestled very briefly, caught up with the stuff we missed in the last 2 years and he made me visit a couple of parks and scenic areas. My mission was mainly to cheer him up, but I do feel that he is really fine on his own and that his morale was steady.

Things have changed, he removed his profile from MeetFighters. He believes society will pay 5 years before normalcy. I do trust him because he has experience in this domain, but I tried to argue that humanity will be able to turn the page: we've had the Spanish Flu a century ago. It took a few years, but people started going back out to restaurant and cinemas again. Festivals and parades returned. Whatever happened became a thing of the past. People forget.

Anyhow, we've traded quite a few body scissors. His scissors were still strong, although slightly less effective, but most probably because of the extra weight I gained. 🀣 On the other hand, he is still weak as ever against my scissors.... and I took the opportunity to sneak a few submissions on him, enjoying every ounce of his difficult time with me. πŸ˜‰ EvilDark complained that he doesn't defend well against my scissors because apparently he doesn't hold his breathing like I do when he puts me in a scissor. πŸ˜‚

2 weeks after, I went and met with Shantig7. We've contacted each other back in October 2020, but we've held off our match until things became better. As the clouds in the horizon started to dissipate, Shantig7 and I agreed that it was safe to have our first match because we both work from home.

Shantig7 would describe himself as a jobber, but he would fight back if requested. This spunky cub is actually fun to tumble with. Young and enthousiastic, this 27 years old wrestler will do his best to take you down. He is still a beginner, but with the proper experience and training, I do believe he can be a very powerful opponent.

In this particular match, we wrestled on his bed and I had forgotten to bring my straps so we horrendously spent a significant amount of time placing back the bed sheet covers on his bed. Nonetheless, we had our fair share of fun where I would lock him in one hold after another, or teasing him with a leg lock while putting my hands behind my hand telling him I can beat him without my arms. He is quite flexible. Camels, crabs and reverse deathlocks take quite a bit of pressure before he'd feel anything. Shantig7 agrees with em that racks don't hurt... until you move up and down.

He boasts a strong lower body, so a good scissor grip. Unfortunately for him, scissors are my favorite thing, so he could give me all the scissors in the world and I would smile back at him, thanking him for a great massage. On the other hand, I would assume he wasn't prepared to receive my body scissors. πŸ˜‚

He is a fast learner though and was very eager to learn about the different wrestling styles and holds out there. I tried explaining to him as much as I can. His fondness for wrestling also started around the age of 13 with a match on TV.

Shantig7 is an avid traveler. His great adventures overseas are overwhelming and shows that he does not hesitate to take risks and brave the unknown. He is very comfortable with his nice, handsome and compact cubbish body. In fact, he showed me one of his mugs that says: "I ❀ Carbs". I felt that was very cute.

He is of Turkish descent, with a little mix of Armenian traits from several generations ago. I would imagine he's the first Turkish/Armenian wrestler I have ever fought.

A rematch is in order, so we will hopefully be talking again soon. This will give me the opportunity to train him and make him a better wrestler than me eventually. 😊

As I write this today though, Canada has begun going into the third wave and have surpassed the US in some regions the ratio of cases per million inhabitants. New restrictions were put in place and curfew was set back from 9:30 pm to 8 pm.

If there's anything that I've learned from the current situation is that you never know when the world changes completely, so you really should wrestle before you can't anymore.... while being careful and taking all the necessary steps to ensure safety of course. πŸ˜‰

Saturday March 13 2021 - First hotel match since... February 2020Recent matches
It's been slightly more than a year since I held my last hotel match. To be exact, that was in February 2020. Now, things are started to go better in Montreal, the number of daily cases has been down, vaccination drives have started mostly for the elderly only. Meanwhile, I felt it was safe to have a hotel match as long as I quarantine my next match by at least fourteen days or a month if I want to be cautious.

I haven't wrestled Tigui (id 10729) since 2016. He reached out to me because he hadn't had a match since December, so after checking his domain and seeing that he works from home most of the time, I've decided that he was safe enough to wrestle and that I was ready to get out of my cocoon.

Tigui is mostly a jobber, so I had to assume and take my beast mode... or heel mode stance. Heel mode activate! πŸ˜‚ A good way to show this is by starting a match with some tough love: a bearhug to show you how much I've missed torturing you!

The little spunky jobber can fight back though, but being deep down a jobber like me, he does make it easy to beat him. Essentially, he is ready to take anything you are willing to throw at him. So, what better way to teach your opponent a lesson than to apply a Reverse Indian Deathlock? Low effort, big impact. Yet, for Tigui, this hold sems to bring him in a state of ecstasy.

As expected, racks do very little to harm him. You have to apply a lot of pressure at the cost of exerting yourself to get a little moan. I wish I had his endurance and the property and capability to bend as much as he can.

Guess what? The rack is also available as a clip that you can view inside [ Clip ID 410. ]

So, we see Tigui getting beatened pretty badly, but that doesn't mean he can't apply holds off his own. He locked on me this camel clutch, although with a bit of difficulty. He told me that he has some sort of artificial joint/limb in his leg or foot, so we tried to be careful. Look at this face though, with that fierce expression, he definitely has what it takes to be a heel after all.

Anyhow, I learned from this match that TiGui loves sideway reverse indian deathlocks... with a couple of grabs. He enjoys been stretched since his body is flexible. Squeezing is a bit less of his cup of tea. I had him in a body scissors and he did whisper to me: "Less pressure, please!" 🀣 Oops. Mind you, you can still squeeze him, but you have to be reasonable about it. Everything with moderation.

Previously, he posted in his profile pictures of him without masks, been very liberal about sharing his face. However, a recent change in profession requires him to be a bit more cautious nowadays. Mind you, he still looks absolutely great with his mask on. He used to have long hair... he trimmed them out in this meet and wow, I absolutely adore him like this. I've never been a fan of long hair, so his new haircut along with his facial beard, hairy legs and hairy chest make him a compact cubbish jobber that I would hold like a teddy bear. 🧸
